The 1st Find this week is a press release from Menorah Park Center for Senior Living in Beechwood OH They had a meeting with Senator Sherrod Brown about legislation to help senior citizens. The conference was called to bring to light the Medicare policy that is causing seniors to be unknowingly hit with large, unfair medical costs after receiving medical care. Under the current law, when seniors ar held for observation in hospitals for days without being admitted, the services are not covered by medicare. Medicare only covrs hospital admissions after 3 days...

Those of you following my blog know that I have been actively supporting +MomsDemandAction, advocating for #Gunsense and more psychological services to help reduce gun violence in our nation. Yesterday, I learned that Harvey Weinstein to Take Aim at NRA in New Movie. I applaud Weinstein, a Westport resident and accomplished movie producer for taking a stand on this important issue.
